SkullGirls Animation Test 2

2nd test. A lot more freedom then the previous one. I realize I used too many drawings than the actual kick when I booted up the game, after finishing. I love how Samson's transformations are usually playful and referential, so in the anticipation he turns into a tail pushing Fillie's patootie, and in one frame, turns into Akuma :3 My favorite thing about Fillia and Samson is the constant conflict between the two of them, there's some great potential there for interesting viewing.

All in all, this was an excellent learning experience working within constraints. Unfortunately, it appears I didn't make the cut-- whether they have too many contractors to the point where the animators become a bottleneck, or didn't think I was good enough, I do not know. I'd like to think not having been sick would have given me the time to make it better and get it done sooner, but "woulda, shoulda, coulda."
